I received this recipe from Honest Kitchen. It sounds interesting so am sharing it with all of you.

I use Honest Kitchen products when traveling. (Honest Kitchen produces and dehydrates complete raw diet foods, i.e., meat, bones, fruit, veggies, supplements. When reconstituted, the products resemble oatmeal.) They are an easy way to take raw natural food with you on trips and have no worry about refrigeration. My dogs all love Honest Kitchen. (I have found that rehydration of Honest Kitchen products only takes a minute or so, not the 10-minutes stated on the product. The product with hydrate with warm tap water. Add a paper bowl---and there is no effort to using Honest Kitchen products.) I also keep Honest Kitchen in my emergency supplies so in a catastrophe; our dogs would continue to have a healthy natural diet. http://www.thehonestkitchen.com/index.shtml

A Nourishing Summer Recipe To Make at Home

Sardine and Green Bean Topper

This recipe is also great for pups on the road, since everything is quick and easy to mix together. It is perfect to be fed as a topper with any Honest Kitchen Meal

Ingredients

1 can sardines in water

¼ cup fresh green beans (canned or lightly cooked and diced) ¼ cup melon (we used Cantaloupe) ¼ cup plain yogurt

What To Do

Mix it up, toss it in with your pet's Honest Kitchen Food - and feed.

Ingredient Focus

Green Beans are especially delicious in the warm summer months. They are laden with vitamins and other nutrients that support cardiac and intestinal health, as well as strong bones and offering wonderful, natural anti-inflammatory properties. We always recommend fresh, local produce where available but canned beans are fine if you are on the road.
